Essential Training Tips and Fundraising Support
We’ll get you in peak shape through group training hikes and individual training tips – technical skills will be taught on the mountain. You’ll also have access to a personal fundraising page, where friends and family can make online donations to your climb. Learn more.
Professional Mountaineering Guides
Professional mountaineering guides make each trip a safe and exciting adventure for beginners and experienced climbers alike. We choose our guides based on their experience and expertise on each mountain. They know how to help climbers like you achieve the summit.
What You Do
Fundraise among Your Friends, Family and Colleagues
Fundraise through your social and professional networks. Hold fundraising events like house parties, silent auctions, and charity golf tournaments. Ask friends, family and coworkers. Write hand-written notes, make phone calls and follow-up. Explain the cause. Tell people your fundraising goal. Then ask again. See the fundraising page for more information, and consult your Climber Packet for ideas and inspiration from past climbers and professional fundraisers alike.
Spread the Word
By supporting Bay Area Wilderness Training, you’ll be getting at-risk and underprivileged youth outdoors. Encourage your friends to join our cause by sponsoring your climb or donating directly to Bay Area Wilderness Training.
