The Climb

Called one the 50 Classic Climbs in North America, the Grand's Exum Ridge was pioneered in 1931 and its 13 pitches are still considered among the cleanest and most aesthetic alpine lines in the country. The 5.4 rating indicates that it is accessible to most climbers with an adventurous spirit. Choose this peak and you'll find yourself on a steep and thrilling journey that will change the way you look at mountains forever. More information on the *rating system*. June through early September is considered the summer season for the Grand Teton because snow fall continues through the end of April. Average temperatures can range from 30 to 80 F in a single day. The Tetons are notorious for afternoon thunderstorms during the summer months, so our climb-teams will get an alpine start and be off the mountain by afternoon.
