The Climb

Called one the 50 Classic Climbs in North America, the Grand's Exum Ridge was pioneered in 1931 and its 13 pitches are still considered among the cleanest and most
aesthetic alpine lines in the country. The 5.4 rating indicates that it is accessible to most climbers with an adventurous spirit. Choose this peak and you'll find

June through early September is considered the summer season for the Grand Teton because snow fall continues through the end of April. Average temperatures can range
from 30 to 80 F in a single day. The Tetons are notorious for afternoon thunderstorms during the summer months, so our climb-teams will get an alpine start and be off
the mountain by afternoon.

Travel
Climbers should plan to arrange their own transportation to and from the mountain. Bay Area Wilderness Training will assist in organizing carpools to and from the
airport. Additional information will be available in the Climber Orientation Packet and at the pre-trip meeting.
